Book Circle
Together, we explore what we read and reflect on what we’ve experienced.
Welcome to this autumn’s book circle!

This autumn, we’re reading Lila by Marilynne Robinson – a beautiful and thought-provoking novel about the fragility of life, the power of love, and the human search for meaning.
Lila is a moving and poetic novel about a woman by the same name who, after a life marked by hardship and wandering, arrives in the small town of Gilead. There she meets the elderly pastor John Ames, and an unusual love story begins. Through Lila’s eyes, the novel explores themes such as existence, belonging, faith, and dignity. It is a standalone novel, but also part of Robinson’s acclaimed Gilead series.
