Confirmation – Express Yourself

The confirmation program challenges youth to explore what it means to follow Jesus. It is aimed to guide youth into having a personal relationship with Christ theologically, spiritually and in community.

Here is an overview of the topics that we cover each year:

•Is It Reasonable To Believe? – Why are we christians?
•What Is The Bible – And how is it structured?
•What Is Prayer – How do you pray? Different ways to pray.
•What Is A Worship Service? – And how is it structured?
•You, Me & God – Human value and Relationship with God.
•The Party of Parties – The Lord’s Supper/ Communion
•Hope – Why is Easter important?
•Who Needs Me – Care and the Mission of the Church.
•What Is The Church?
•What Is Baptism?
•Who Is The Holy Spirit?
•The Lord’s Prayer

What makes this program so special is that it is a joint ministry partnership! We partner with our Swedish and Korean language groups as we journey together in this faith exploration! We also have a few different churches from around the Stockholm area that join us for the year. The diversity of voices and perspectives is such a blessing. It is a great environment to get curious, ask questions, be challenged, and really explore what we confirm in our Christian faith!
