Do you want to reflect on life’s bigger questions and explore the Christian faith together with others? Then you should join confirmation class!
What is confirmation?
Confirmation is about the Christian faith and your life, and how the two connect. It’s a chance to get to know Jesus and try out what it means to live a Christian life in a church community. We do this through great fellowship, teaching, devotions, and discussions – but also through fika, activities, and creativity.
Our goal is that you will get to know yourself, new friends, and God – and have a lot of fun along the way!
Confirmation is open to everyone born in 2011 or earlier
You don’t need to have faith in God or be baptized to join.
Everyone is welcome!
The confirmation year
We meet at Immanuel Church one weekend a month during the spring and then go on a week-long camp in June. After the summer, we meet again and finish the confirmation year with a celebration evening together with families, and finally a big and festive confirmation service.

COST
3000 SEK. Camp and meals are included in this cost.
No one should have to refrain from confirmation for financial reasons.

The confirmation program at Immanuel Church offers space for conversations, creativity, camps, and new friendships – whether you believe or not.

Values
Confirmation at Immanuel wants to be a safe place that values diversity and is characterized by warmth, love, and respect. We see differences as an asset and an opportunity. We want confirmation to be a place where you feel: “This is where I belong – whoever I am, wherever I come from.” Everyone is welcome here.
