Politicians’ hearing on democracy, environment and justice, 15 April

Panel discussion and group conversations – everyone is welcome to join! The Relay for Democracy, Environment and Justice arrives in Stockholm on 15 April, after visiting locations from Kiruna in the north to Malmö in the south.

Along the way, the relay has collaborated with people active in climate, environmental and human rights movements, local food producers, folk high schools and more, while gathering proposals on what is needed to strengthen a well-functioning democracy and sustainable communities across the country.

Programme
13.00 Opening and introductions
13.15–14.15 Panel discussion with politicians – moderator: Erik Amnå
14.20–15.20 Group discussions on:

  • Democracy and popular education
  • Environment and climate
  • Urban and rural development
  • The future of shared welfare

Politicians will rotate between groups, spending around 8–10 minutes in each, listening and responding to questions. Each group will have a moderator to ensure everyone who wishes to speak has the opportunity.
