All members of Immanuelskyrkan may submit motions to the congregation’s Annual General Meeting. Motions may be submitted by an individual member or jointly by several members.
How to structure a motion:
- At the top of the page, write:
“Motion to the Annual General Meeting of Immanuelskyrkan 2023” - Add a title to the motion.
The title should clearly state what the motion is about. - Describe the issue you wish to raise.
A helpful tip is to focus on what you want to achieve, rather than exactly how it should be solved. - Formulate one or more proposals for decisions.
- Write your name.
If several people are submitting the motion together, include everyone’s names. - You must be present at the Annual General Meeting to present your motion.
If there are several authors, please state who will be the contact person and who will present the motion at the meeting.
Ahead of the Annual General Meeting, the church council will consider the motions and submit proposals for decisions. The council’s proposals will be included in the AGM documents, which will be available to all members approximately ten days before the meeting.
