Retreat Sunday

Note: All Retreats are held in Swedish.

This spring, we will be hosting a series of retreat Sundays with guest speakers. First out is Robert Eriksson on 15 March.

Theme: Loved Just as You Are
When: Sunday 15 March, 9.00–15.00
Where: Immanuelskyrkan Stockholm, Kungstensgatan 17

Robert Eriksson

Speaker

Robert Eriksson is a pastor and senior minister at Betlehemskyrkan in Gothenburg, as well as an author and musician. His new book, Loved Just as You Are (Verbum), also forms the theme for this retreat Sunday at Immanuelskyrkan.

Welcome to a day of discovering a grace-filled faith and a deeper relationship with God, with others, and with yourself.

Theme

This retreat Sunday centres on one overarching question:
How would your life change if you truly believed that you are seen and loved – not for what you achieve, but simply because you exist?

Perhaps this is what we most deeply seek through our life choices, our relationships and our dreams: that someone would see all that we are and still choose to draw near – that we are loved just as we are.

In a time when worth is often measured by performance and many struggle with harsh images of God, Robert Eriksson reminds us of something radically simple: God’s love is not a reward, but a gift. It is not about becoming perfect, but about daring to receive God’s healing love.

Through everyday stories and thoughtful theological reflection, Robert Eriksson shows how faith can become a source of rest, trust and inner peace.

You are warmly welcome.
