Young Leaders Program
The Young Leaders Program is for anyone aged 15 to 18 who wants to continue growing in faith, community, and leadership after confirmation.
We meet regularly to share fellowship, eat together, learn, and have meaningful conversations about life and faith. Our guiding theme is go deeper, as we explore various topics related to the Christian faith and reflect on what they might mean in our own lives. Each summer, there’s an opportunity to take part in a trip to the ecumenical monastery in Taizé, France – a place of stillness, prayer, and international community.
Throughout the year, you’ll also have the chance to develop your leadership skills alongside others. We learn more about what it means to be a leader and get to practice leading in different settings. The theme here is pass it on, as we help each other discover our unique strengths and how we can use them to make a difference in someone else’s life. We believe that everyone has something to give – and that everyone is needed.
The Young Leaders Program offers a space to grow – in faith, as a person, and as a leader.

Taizé – a monastery in the south of France
Taizé is a monastery in the south of France that is visited by youth and young adults from all over the world who want to explore and grow in their faith. Every summer, thousands of young people travel to the monastery, and some weeks over 5,000 visitors gather to share both an external and an internal journey with the brothers. The monastery was founded in 1949 and today brothers and sisters* from about 25 countries live there.
*The people who live at the monastery all year round are called brothers and sisters, and they are part of a community called a community.
