{"id":9831,"date":"2023-01-09T13:30:00","date_gmt":"2023-01-09T12:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.immanuel.se\/en\/?p=9831"},"modified":"2023-01-12T09:34:36","modified_gmt":"2023-01-12T08:34:36","slug":"roder","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.immanuel.se\/en\/2023\/roder\/","title":{"rendered":"Welcome to Roder!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"is-style-lead\">Roder is a course for you who want to talk with others in a small group where security prevails and important conversations are held during seven evening meetings and a follow-up meeting.&nbsp;During the course you will have the opportunity to explore forces that control your life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Roder addresses seven key life themes:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 My direction in life<br>\u2022 My inhibiting fears<br>\u2022 My ability to be reconciled with what has been<br>\u2022 My feeling of not being good enough<br>\u2022 My deepest longing<br>\u2022 My expectations of love and fellowship<br>\u2022 My goals in life<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Each course evening takes three hours and follows a fixed program<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Meal fellowship over a plate of soup<br>\u2022 Guided meditation with relaxation<br>\u2022 Short presentation of the evening\u2019s theme<br>\u2022 Own reflection in silence with the support of a reflection booklet<br>\u2022 Conversations in small groups with conversation leaders<br>\u2022 Summary own reflection<br>\u2022 Closing with a decision on change<br>\u2022 The prayer of the mind<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This means that the course evenings contain a dynamic between individual reflection, small conversation group and large group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The short presentations are based on research-based facts and reflections from a universal perspective.&nbsp; They always end with a reflection of the theme from a Christian point of view.&nbsp; These two perspectives are kept apart, as far as can now be done.&nbsp; This means that everyone can feel comfortable during the course evening, regardless of their outlook on life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The groups are led by Jonas Gustafsson, G\u00f6rel Bystr\u00f6m Janarv and Helena Erkenborn who are active in various ways in the parish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote has-secondary-background-color has-background\"><blockquote><p>\u201cVery! Been yearning for this for many years without knowing about it. Have had time to reflect. Meet a loving community. Got to meet people without our different walls and patterns.\u201d<\/p><cite>This is what one person wrote afterwards when asked if Roder influenced her.<\/cite><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-lead\"><strong>Dates spring 2023:<\/strong><br>Wed 1\/2<br>Wed 15\/2<br>Thursday 1\/3<br>Wed 15\/3<br>Wed 29\/3<br>Wed 19\/4<br>Wed 26\/4<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-lead\"><strong>Time:<\/strong>&nbsp;18.00\u201321.00<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Course fee:&nbsp;<\/strong>SEK 300 for 7 occasions.&nbsp; This includes a folder with materials and simple coffee.
