When you apply for financial support from us, we take a holistic approach in which conversation, fellowship and long-term solutions are just as important as addressing immediate needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For us, care for the individual is a central part of our Christian faith and ministry. This means that we can offer support in various ways \u2013 through conversation, prayer, fellowship, or activities for different age groups. We believe it is important to work with a long-term perspective, focusing both on the wider context and on sustainable outcomes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>We do not replace public welfare services, and therefore it is important that you can show that you have done what you can to seek support, for example from social services. You must also have applied for any benefits you may be entitled to, such as maintenance support or housing benefit from the Swedish Social Insurance Agency (F\u00f6rs\u00e4kringskassan).<br>We never provide cash or transfer money directly to a bank account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Priority groups<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Families with children up to and including upper secondary school age.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>People on a low income or with no income at all.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>People who are waiting for other forms of support or interventions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How do I apply for support?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You can contact us by email at <strong><a href=\"mailto:diakoner@immanuelskyrkan.se\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">diakoner@immanuelskyrkan.se<\/a><\/strong> or by telephone on <strong>+46 (0)8 587 503 00<\/strong>, option 1 and then option 2 (diaconal support).<br>If we believe there may be a possibility to help you, a face-to-face meeting will be arranged, where you will be asked to present your income and expenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What to bring to the meeting<\/strong><br>If you wish to apply for financial support, please bring documentation showing the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Income<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Employment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Swedish Social Insurance Agency (F\u00f6rs\u00e4kringskassan)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Student finance (CSN)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Unemployment benefit<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Financial assistance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Expenses<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Rent<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Electricity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Insurance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mobile phone<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Medical care and medication costs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You will also need to present bank statements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">When will I receive a decision?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Decisions are not made by an individual but in consultation with the diaconal team.
