Our worship on Sundays is a vital part of our life together as a community. We worship God through music, reading Scripture, teaching, testimonies and prayer. Children ages 3-14 are invited to a special Sunday school program.

We will follow the sermon series, which will work through the bible in a year.

Music in the Service

Music and singing is one of the main ways in which we bring our praise and thanksgiving to God during our worship service. We seek to incorporate the rich diversity of our community, for example by blending traditional and contemporary music, sometimes in other languages. Our music director oversees the music ministry, guides the worship teams and directs the choir.

Worship Team

Do you play an instrument or love to sing? Do you long to praise God together with others? You are welcome to join our worship team rehearsals on Thursday evenings.

International Choir

Do you long to sing together with others in a choir? Join the International choir. We sing at special services and sometimes concerts. The repertoire includes hymns, contemporary worship songs and sometimes praise songs in other (often African or Asian) languages.

Worship Teams

Would you like to join one of our Sunday ministry teams? We all have different gifts to share. This is also a great way to get to know people.

Fika Team

Together with others, you prepare coffee, tea and cinnamon bread before the worship service and clean up afterwards.

Usher

You welcome visitors to the worship service and help make them feel at home. You also collect and count the offering.

Information Host

You give information about upcoming ministry events and small groups at the information desk before and after the service.

Communion Server

Together with someone else, you serve communion during the worship service.

Prayer Team

You offer intercessory prayer during communion or after the service (in a designated room).

Newcomer’s Host

You actively welcome newcomers to the church and help them connect with other people and ministries. Once or twice per term, you attend the newcomer’s gathering at the pastor’s home and help with set up, welcoming them into the Pastor’s home, and help cleaning up afterwards.

Sunday School Teacher (Children)

Together with others, you teach children ages 2-11 through songs, bible stories and crafts. Materials are provided and you are supported by the children’s ministry team.

Sunday School Teacher (Youth)

Together with others, you teach teenagers ages 12-14 through bible reading, discussion, exercises and games. Materials are provided and you are supported by the Associate pastor.

Events & Hosting Team

Together with others, you help organize special fellowship events such as potlucks, open house at the pastor’s and retreats.

Sound Team

You set up (and take down) sound equipment on stage, perform a sound check and support the music director and pastoral staff during the worship service.

Projector Team

The projector team uses ProPresenter software to present song lyrics, Scripture and sermon notes. They work in partnership with the Sound team and Camera Team to present the Sunday worship service.

Camera Team

The Camera team is in charge of setting up the Live stream equipment, and capturing the worship service for our Sunday morning live stream via YouTube. They work in connection with the Sound Team and Projection team to create a smooth presentation of the live stream worship service.
