How did we lose “death” – and do we want it back?
In Sweden, we sing about death in the national anthem, but often lack a language when it comes to death. In this evening’s talk, Philip de Croy takes us through history, from past proximity to death to present-day distance and inability. When did we actually lose death, what happens when it intrudes through war, pandemics and personal loss and how can we become more alive by talking more about death?
