Youth Pastor with Leadership Responsibilities

Are you a person who is passionate about seeing young people find faith and hope, and enjoys working with both youth and volunteer leaders? Would you like to make a difference in the city of Stockholm? Would you like to work in a church that reaches out to thousands of people every week and aims to reach even more young people? 

In this pastoral roll, you will work with youth and young adults, and together with our youth leaders, you will help develop the work among young people. You will report to our Senior Pastor as the youth work is common for all three language groups in the congregation. You will also lead a small team of youth leaders.

You have a Christian faith that sustains you, you are a committed, positive, and creative person who enjoys preaching. You are particularly passionate about working with youth and enabling them to take their place on their own terms. You will have the opportunity to positively impact the lives of young people. You will work with all kind of pastoral responsibilities.

We believe that the right person has previous experience working with confirmation work and other activities focused on youth.

You are an ordained pastor, preferably within the Uniting Church in Sweden (Equmeniakyrkan). You have a strong commitment to society and knowledge of current issues affecting young people in Sweden and their lives. You are confident in yourself and have experience in leading others.

You need to be able to express yourself fluently in both English and Swedish.
