Immanuel Church is located in central Stockholm. It brings together people of all ages, from many parts of the world and in different life situations.
We have created a new role and are looking for a Congregational Coordinator. In this role you will be the right hand of the Senior Pastor and provide a support function to the Senior Pastor for the purpose of;
- Streamlining the Senior Pastor’s role as pastor and leader.
- Handling practical issues in order to facilitate the Senior Pastor’s job of leading the congregation.
- Creating space so that the Senior Pastor can focus on leading and developing the operations.
- Giving the Senior Pastor the opportunity to work towards networking and outreach.
The role of the Congregational Coordinator includes project management, coordination of the congregational activities, and monitoring the implementation of the ministry plan. Some administration and practical supervisory responsibilities are included in this role.
The Congregational Coordinator is supervised by the Senior Pastor. The two of you will be working very closely together. This requires that you are coordinated as you are two different people but speaking with one voice.
As a person you have a Christian faith and support Immanuel Church’s vision and values. You also have a habit of working in a church environment.
You are an analytical person who has a helicopter vision that allows you to understand which paths are most effective in the short and long term.
As a person you are confident in yourself and can create structures, have the ability to run several processes at the same time and are not afraid to set boundaries. You are loyal, enthusiastic and have integrity. You are a support to your boss in all situations.
You are a person who is used to preparing and proposing decisions to be taken. In other situations, you make the decisions yourself. You also have the ability to anchor decisions made in the organization, even if you yourself were not involved in the decision-making process.
You lead, execute and complete projects because your specialty is making things happen.
You can communicate fluently verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English.
Your personal qualities are as important as your competence in this recruitment.
