Many have reacted with sadness and horror over the stories that the people in the program had shared, while others have nodded in recognition because their experiences are similar to those told.
When the church does not become a safe place for children and young people, we as communities have failed. In Immanuel Church, as we write in our vision, we strive for an environment where children and young people develop, where people receive support, where faith grows. Here, everyone should be able to feel at home.
