During the spring pandemic, our Music School in Immanuel Church turned 60 years old. Now this autumn term when we can meet again, we want to celebrate it for a whole Anniversary week 20–29 October.
Our documented vision is to be a music school that is an integral part of the parish’s activities, where students’ musical development is at the center.
1961 was the year that Gunno Södersten visionarily started the Music School’s activities as a conscious part in building the congregation’s musical life.
Music is an important part for all of us, everything from children’s rhythm to choir singing. Many are those who during these years have gotten to know our parish’s activities and given our parish a huge network of contacts.
Sunday the 24th of October at 11.00 we will celebrate together with song and music with students and teachers from the Music School.
