A journey from unanimous coral to polyphony. We are carried by the longing for a summer night, along Tomas Tranströmer’s imagery, when he describes the light in July, in the middle of a midsummer dance and on to August Strindberg’s dream play.
With the program And the song smells in the night Eric Eric Ericson’s Chamber Choir presents a colorful concert with works by Swedish composers, who all have in common that they are firmly rooted in the Scandinavian choral tradition.
The concert is given before a tour to the big choir fair chor.com in Hanover, Germany, where the choir has the privilege of presenting Swedish music. Conductor is Florian Benfer.
The concert is arranged in collaboration between Immanuel Church and Eric Ericson’s Chamber Choir. The church has unnumbered seats. Please arrive well in advance of the concert to ensure a good place. The doors open at 18:15.
